Another great essay Dustin. Kuhn talked about "paradigm shifts" as in 'buddy can you spare a dime" but the shiftiness is he key part. Most scientists never take part, beyond fiercely defending the status quo (i.e., normal science). In politics it is the policies that shift, and everyone should defend the process. POLITICAL REVOLUTIONS, are NOT like Scientific ones, and usually end up as highly reactionary rather than securing policy shifts.
