Brilliant review essay Devon. A bit too long for the typical medium reader, it might have been better to serialize into three essays, one for each freedom. In a society that thinks that the last Congressional session is ancient history, it is easy to obscure the inventiveness of generations long dead. Or worse, to do as economists do and just make up fairy tales about our inexorable economics systems. Ergo the TINA (there is no alternative) bullshit.

I knew David, and he is sorely missed. His book DEBT is a classic, and should be read by every economist before they pontificate about money and banking. Thank you for bringing him back to life, if only for a little while. CHEERS!!!!!
