Excellent essay Martin. The wankers have been playing the old game of chutes and ladders, and each time they removed a ladder they replaced it with a chute. America in the post war years actually achieved a point where most folks were middle class, but they dismantled the last of the New Deal in the 1970s/80s and along with it class mobility. Since the 2000s they also took that last bastion of upward progress, home ownership. For most American the world is all chutes now. SERFS UP!
