Excellent little essay Srebrina; Your point about there not being enough Walden Ponds to go around is a good one, not to mention that silent reflection time is pretty scarce as well. We live in BF Skinner's Walden II, without much human "dignity nor freedom". We don't recognize our serfdom, in our Neo-Feudalist Economy.
