Good discussion Mike, but I disagree with you this one. 1) the blood thing has a much deeper meaning, with ancient racial purity underpinning. 2) Recall the folks who came to DC did have a catch of weapons nearby, and recall Trumps was pissed that they were not allowed to come armed onto the Capitol grounds. If Trumps returns to power all bets are off on this issue of violence. 3) The next time his storm troopers come to DC, it will not be a last minute hail Mary. 4) He could hand pick his generals more carefully this time, and declare marshal law after his own Reichstag Fire.
