Jimmy was our last honest president. His misnamed "malaise speech" (the word never appeared) should have been required reading for every American. His only fault, as I could see it, was that he would actually read our esoteric and often equivocating policy papers. He was a graduate of Evelyn Wood’s Reading Dynamics (speed reading) course. Plus, he and his Georgians were always outsiders to DC, and the bureaucracies never really allowed him to be president.
