But as Hannah observed what separates TOTALITARIANISM for run of the mill of fascism (which we have experienced for decades) is the INTERNALIZED TERROR (e.g., the sporadic use of violence), and complete surveillance and misinformation (we now have capabilities that would make Orwell blush and Goebbels giddy).
