Not to mention SCOTUS are like the Bishops of Old. But banks have to be chartered by us, and we can always change the rules that govern their reckless speculative activities. Why are they lobbying us to abandon Basel III, unless they are worried that we might make them adhere to the rules that many other nations have already implemented.
