Really great essay Malky. This explains a great deal as to why so many are such assholes. Economics, as it has been taught for the last several decades, is more cult than science. It gained its societal power by pandering to plutocrats, and showing them how to rig the system. It gave them permission to plunder, and told them they were the crown of creation for doing so.
