This is a great essay Kat. But they also imply that they earned their good fortune, when "richplaining". I dated a flight attendant once and she shared with me something that I should have known. Very few of the folks in 1st class actually paid for those seats, they got bumped-up via some type of connection. Ditto for most of the advantages the rich claim via mythical hard work. Take our famous ex-president, who claims he is a self-made billionaire, and many folks worship him based upon that lie alone. Well his dad, the Klansman, started him with a few 100 million, and it have been mostly down hill for Trump in terms of business acumen. Skill at the grift, however, netted him millions more, but he is never made a billion, and without the generosity of his followers, he will be flat broke after his legal fees. When he is, we can say, you are lucky (in other countries they hang criminals like him) it could have been worse. PS: Thank you for your followership, I will do my best to earn it.
