Your points are very well taken. It is an extremely useful tool. I used a form pre-AI to simulate the interaction of adaptive agents as an alternative to homo-economicus. But, BIG TECH has been our golden boy for decades, and their special treatment has now established a new FEUDAL SYSTEM, concentrating power in the hands of sociopaths. AI that grew out of the disinformation revolution, and is much more dangerous than any other technology except maybe nuclear weapons. As Harrari noted "we thought if flooded the world with information, that the truth would float to the top, instead it sank to the bottom".
